The Staff
Henry H. Fung, DDS, FAGD, CAMD, LAc
Dr. Fung graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the National Defense Medical Center in Taiwan and then studied at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry, subsequently acquiring Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Having gained licensure in multiple countries, he has had the privilege of providing his services in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and California, accruing over 45 years of experience and skills in all practices of General Dentistry, professing in Oral Surgery, particularly in the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth and similar complicated cases, as well as Periodontics, Prosthetics, and Orthodontics.
In addition to being a dentist, he is also a renowned Acupuncturist, possessing extensive comprehension of the human anatomy from general modern medicine to traditional Chinese medicine and holistic therapies. With such uncommon proficiency in medical diagnostics and medical expertise, he understands the problems, pain, and anguish of patients suffering from oral and maxillofacial issues and beyond and approaches health restoration as a balanced unit rather than just focusing on a single organ, even implementing acupuncture in dentistry when necessary, setting himself apart from other practices and doctors.
Dr. Fung remains active in the education of new and established doctors in both fields of dentistry and acupuncture where his lectures concentrate on fundamental knowledge and practical and adaptive applications, sharing his mastery of various teeth-related diseases and their systemic impact and vice versa, as well as preventive measures for such conditions. He attends to the patients and medical staff of the greater Los Angeles County and is sought after beyond state and national borders. Outside of private practice, he also extends his compassion through charitable services to nonprofit organizations and volunteer projects as well as special financial arrangements for the uninsured, elderly and disabled members of the community.
